Journey of Flavour is a brand for the Port Macquarie-Hastings region, which represents quality products and services in the food and beverage sector.

Created as part of the Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Industry Development Program, Journey of Flavour is a joint initiative between Council and the Food, Wine and Tourism industry.

The endorsed businesses have earned the right to display the Journey of Flavour logo and patrons can expect quality service and a memorable food and wine experience.

Pre-requisites to the Journey of Flavour Program include:

• Business must be Customer Care endorsed
• Locally grown or processed products to appear on menus and/or wine lists with 2 items identified in any season
• An audit is to occur if the business changes hands
• Processed products must meet minimum labeling requirements under the food standards code
• Demonstrate how local suppliers, products and services are used.
